This is the more uncommon Labradorite as it is grayish-black with that beautiful chatoyancy (like a cat’s eye) that shimmers when it is moved. Usual Labradorite is the bluish variety of which I have an exquisite large pendant in sterling silver. The flicker of color is more like silver in this black variety whereas the bluish labradorite has a flicker of blue.

This is a neat necklace and would look lovely inside a suit or on any jewel neckline. It is 21 inches with an additional little gold chain of 3 inches should it be needed. There are little gold accent beadcaps and beads in the necklace and the lobster is gold plated.
